I am really excited to add a new hobby to my life. Or some of you might say new addiction. I am learning as much as I can about Digital Scrapbooking. It is so much fun. So as I learn, I will be adding to my blog to help all of you learn as well. Hopefully I will be able to help you as much as some of my friends have helped me. I am going to try to get good enough to make a difference. I will pass on what I have learned and great things I find. So I hope you all enjoy this as much as I am. I have been busy as usual. I think I function better under lots of stress!! I have been working on a friends wedding. Doing the favors for the wedding dinner and then helping with the table decor. I have had so much fun! Parker thinks I should go into the wedding planning business!! Funny! But I really do enjoy doing the fun things that go along with weddings and crafts. I think I have an addition.... But at least I can admit it. And it is really fun, McKenzie has it to. She has been making the cutest birhday cakes for all of us. She has a cricut cake and it has really been fun to seeing her create. She has also made the cutest pillows. And some a great tutorial on her blog! Way to go Kenzie.
The rest of the family is doing really good: Parker is working, working and did I say working. He is single right now and I think he would rather not be. He likes having a girl friend.
Chelsea and Jared are adjusting to married life. They are moving next week to a really cute place. She is loving her job and progressing very well. They just got bikes and they are riding all over. So much fun!
Lyonel is in the process of building a pinewood durby car... Le Heafe... I thought only little boys did that, but he is having a blast!! I told you how McKenzie is doing! I just love having her as my daughter! She is such a delight!!
Moody and I are just hanging on enjoying the ride. Life is so good and we are happy. We are beyond blessed!

New Car!

Ok, So I finally did it, I got a new car! I have only been looking for 2 years, but I did it. I bought a Dodge Charger. I am very excited about it. I have driven the truck for lots of years!! And Moody said it is time for me to get a car, so I did. I will have to post pictures later. But it is really pretty and I have a really big smile on my face!! Yeppie!!

Well the wedding is over and they kids are home and getting there life started. They are having so much fun, and I am so happy for them.
Thanks to everyone that helped me so much. I have not even one complaint, everything was so beautiful! I am so Proud of them.
Well now Moody and I are getting ready to celebrate our 28th anniversary. 28 wonderful years married to my best friend and soul mate. He is so good to me and I am so thankful everyday to have him.
So Yes life is good!! we are all happy and love being together as a family!!

Well We have 1 week til the wedding. Chelsea is so excited and happy! I am working really hard to make sure everything is just how she wants it.
Making a list and checking it twice...oh wait that's Christmas... I guess I am a little confused. Hee hee!
I am very proud of Chelsea and the wonderful girl she has grown into, I pray for her and their happiness. Starting a new life together and all the joys that come from that.
I love you Chelsea and I am so thankful that I get to be your mom and best friend! You Still amaze me every day!!

Well I guess I am the bad blogger, But I have been so busy, as we all are. Well we are having a wedding!!!! YEPPIE!!! Chelsea is getting married and I could not be happier for her. The big day is July 20,2011! In the Salt Lake Temple. So we have been working hard to get everything together. I am a very proud mom I have to say.

Holy Cow did I fall off the earth???

Well I thought I better let you all know that none of us feel off the earth. We are all still alive and kicking. So much has happened in the last while. Ok sit down and get you popcorn. Here we go.

Lyonel and Mckenzie moved down to Draper and then purchased a home in Herriman. YEA!!! Lyonel is working for Simmons Media Group. He is a Sales Rep. SO if amy one need radio ad time let us know. McKenzie is working for CompHealth. They are so much fun to have around. I love that they are close and we can play together.

Chelsea got here Phlebotomy Licence this summer and she will be working for AURP. We are so happy for her. She will be working two jobs for a while, so she will be a very busy girl and she is really excited about it!!

Parker graduated from High School and got a good job at Sugar House Moving and storage. He is working a ton and loving the $$. He is still such a joy to his mom!!

Moody is still working at Smith. He is doing great and working hard as always.

As for me, I just went to work full time and I love it. I am still with Jordan School District in Information Systems. i work with great people and have fun learning all I can learn.

Well That is all the scoop I can think of. We are all happy and feel very blessed.

Well it has been so long that I thought it was time to post.
Things with our family keeps moving on as busy as always. We are all healthy and happy, and looking for warm weather and boating!!
Lyonel and Mckenzie moved to Draper. We are all so happy to have them close. Lyonel started his new job. He is getting the hang of things. Kenzie is still hoping to get a job soon. There new apartment is so cute!!
Chelsea is so busy!!! She works at Z West Ins. she is the office manager there and really loves it. She is also a full time student. And dating on top of that. I love having her home with us.
Parker is counting the days till graduation. He still works at Smiths. I can't believe he is a big as he is. He is still so much fun to have around!!
Moody is still working at Smiths and he is doing great. He has been doing more great woodworking and man do I love the things he makes.
I am still with Jordan School District, Hoping that I get to keep my job. I also have taken on a fun little part time job with Sonic. I am the marketing Director for the Jordan Landing Store. It is fun to Promote Sonic. The Title is really big, but the job is just fun.
We all Hope you are all doing great! And hoping for summer like us!

I thought it was about time to wish you all a happy new year. Things with my family are going great.
Lyonel Graduated from Utah State on Dec. 12,2009 So he is doing he job hunt.
Mckenzie is still working for Utah State, and she is looking for work closer to family as well. Keep your finger crossed they find some thing soon!!!
Chelsea is working at Z West ins. And going to SLCC. She ia a very busy girl! She is loving her new little orang bug!
Parker is in his last semester of high school. Still working at Smith, and he is still such a great help.
I have become a cricut fool.. I really love it! I Work at the Jordan School district and am loving it!
Moody is still with Smith and doing great. He is making sawdust down stairs as much as he can.
So we are all happy as very. and hope you are the same.

I know it has been a very long time! But I just can't seam to get into this blogging thing. So here is a very quick up date.
Lyonel and McKenzie are happily married! The day was great in every way. Yes there was a zipper glitch, but nothing to bad. What a great day! I was very proud! And we love McKenzie!
Chelsea made her first big purchase. She bought a car. It is a 2002 VW Bug. And yes it is orange. It is so cute!! She has a really good job and she is going to school. I love having her home!!!
Parker is a senior at Copper Hills High. He just finished his last year of football. He really played great. It has been fun going to all the games. He is working also and doing great in school.
Moody and I are just having a great time. Our kids keep us busy, but we are very happy. Moody is still with Smiths. And I took on a new adventure, I am now at Jordan School District in the Information Systems Department. I really like my new job!!
So that gets you all up to date. I hope you are all well and happy.

Lyonel got engaged on April 18. It is so cool. Moody and I got engaged on April 18, 26 years ago. We are so happy for him! He is marring a girl named Mckenzie Cattani. They met at USU. They are thinking August 15.

Well I have proven it again, I am a bad blogger! I'm sorry! I just haven't had much to say. We are all happy and doing fine. i am looking forward to May, Chelsea will be home for the summer. Lyonel is going to stay in Logan and do a summer semester so he can finish in Dec. That makes me sad, but happy for him to be done with school. We are jsut hanging in. Hope you are all do great to!

Here is Lyonel's bike. It has been in the shop since last summer. I know way to long!! But we got it back on Friday. He is very excited. I don't think I am, just that fear of bike I have, but he can't wait to take it out for a spin. I think it really looks good.

What a great holiday season! There is nothing better then having my family home! It was so nice I got 2 weeks with everyone here. We really had a great time together! I really hope that all dogs do go to Heaven! Ruffus pasted away on Monday August 25. He got sick and just could not get better. He was a great dog, and we will all miss him running through the house. Things will be very different around here without our little friend. We love you little buddy!

Well Lyonel took a spill on his Motorcycle on Weds. He is pretty beat up, But he is healing good. They were really good to him in the ER. And gave me all the instruction for taking care of him. No broken bones, 4 stitches in his right hand and you can see his let hand. He has a good sized scrap on his hip also. Lucky is all I have to say. Man what a SCARE!!! I am SO GLAD his is OK!!!! And that he is smart enough to keep the helmet on! I still don't like Motorcycles!

Trek

Wow! What a great time we had on the Trek this last weekend. I will never forget the great experience. It was so amazing. We really worked hard. But man am I thankful for those Handcart companies, You really never understand til you get to pull that handcart your self. We had a greats family. We all pulled together so great,and became close so fast. I am very thankful for the opportunity I had to get to go!! I truly loved every minute of the Trek!!

I am so very proud of my little girl!! She graduated today. She is so beautiful. What a fun day. I can't believe she will be off to school in August. She is going to SUU to be an ambassador. We are very proud!! I love you Chelsea so are the light of my life. And man am I lucky to get to be your mom!! Thanks Chels!! Thanks you for everything, the fun play time we have to the great long talks, to just the fact that you are my very best friend in the whole world!! You still AMAZE ME!!! Way to go!!

I am very happy to tell you all that Lyonel is coming home for the summer!! YEA!!! I will be going up on Friday to help bring him home. He will be working for K-Bull 93. He is very happy about that. So a summer with all my kids around me. There is nothing better. I really need them around.

Happy Birthday Parker! I can't belive he is 16!! I'm not that old to have my youngest turn 16. But I guess he is ready to be 16.
What a great guy he is! Parker is always so willing to help and to do what we need. He is a great friend and so kind to everyone. I am so lucky to be his mom. Well it has been a very long time since I have added a new post. Things have been very different. I just haven't been myself, and I wish I could fix it. But I think time will help. I hope!
Chelsea is getting so close to the end of school. I really think she is done now, but she still has to go every day. She will be going to SUU in the fall and she is very excited about that. She got the ambassadorship there. It will be really weird having her gone. Man I will miss her. But I am very excited for her to get this great chance to go to school.
Parker got a Truck! He is so happy to be in the garage working on it. He really likes it and loves doing the car fix up thing. I can't wait to see what it looks like when he is done.
Lyonel will be home for the summer!!! I am very glad about that. He will be working for the Bull again. He loves that radio thing.
So the family will all be together for the summer and I hope we get to spend a lot of time on the boat! That is what we love.

I have the best husband!! These are the roses Moody gave me, Man what a kind man I married. The past few weeks have really been hard for me and he has had to put up with SO MUCH!!!! But he was thoughtful enough to bring me flowers. I really didn't deserve! I am so grateful that he is so understanding and kind to me. He has been here for everything I have needed, even when it put him in a very hard spot. I am so blessed to have a man that is so loving and faithful! I could never ask for more. Well yesterday was a very sad sunday for me. I was released as the Young Women's Pres. I have been so blessed to be able to serve in this great calling. I love those girl so much and I will miss so much the time I had to share with them. They have blessed my life more then they will ever know. I just hope and pray that I have touch their lives in some way. I am so grateful for the great opportunity that the Lord gave me to serve.

It has been a really long time since I have taken the time to write, I know I'm bad. But we are so busy, just like all of you. But we are all doing great.
Lyonel has started his 2nd semester at Utah State. He is really having a great time there. He is still working at Then Olive Garden. And man he really does great there. He is coming home on the 25 to take me to Brad Paisley. I can hardly wait!! Birthdays are great!
Chelsea is just working on getting through school. Remember your senior year.... She applying to Colleges. That makes me really sad, but she is so ready. She is working at Smith's and she really likes it.
Parker got his learners permit!!!! HOLY COW!!!! He will be 16 before I am ready. He is working on his football skills. I think Parker and Moody will be starting to rebuild the MG so he can drive it. That should be fun for them.
Moody and I are doing good to, just very busy with work and church, You know. But we really do feel very blessed for having such great kids! I am very proud of them and the great things they are all doing.

Well I had another birthday. What a greatest day! Moody really takes good care of me. It was really great to have everyone here for the day. We went to Dinner at Texas Raod house. That is the Families favorite. I am one very lucky lady to have such a great family. I got a new camera, so I hope I will be able to add some better pictures to my blog.

My Mom's Birthday

What a fun time we had! My Mother had a birthday. We all got together for dinner it was really fun! We started the day out really early. (4:00 am) day after Thanksgiving shopping. Lyonel Grandma and I went it was so muuch fun. Then dinner at Johnny Carino's with my brother and sister. Then My brother and His wife took her off to see Mannheim Steamroller. I think she had a great day! She deserved it! She is the best and you only turn 70 once! Happy Birthday Mom!!

Tonight was a very great evening. We went to the Forgotten Carols. It was very nice. Lyonel came down from Logan, it was his first time to see the show. He really liked it. I love having my family together!! There is nothing better. Just an all around wonderful time together!

Thanksgiving

The Best part about Thanksgiving for me was having my whole family home!! YEA!!! We had a real house full, but it was so nice. Lyonel cut 1 of the turkeys. He did really good.
Friday Lyonel, My Mom and Me went to fight the Christmas shoppers. We had so much fun. But dang it is dark at 4:00am. ha ha! We really got a lot done, so it was all worth it!
We also went to dinner Friday evening for my Mom's 70th birthday. She was very surprised to see my brother and sister at Johnny Carino's.
It was a great weekend!!

Parker

Well I thought I would put a note in about Parker. He is such a great kid!! I just can't believe how he has gotten so big. He is really doing great in school and really likes High School. I think that Chelsea and Parker are having alot of fun being in school together.
Things at the Gammon hom are going good. We are all very happy and just loving life day by day.

Well I have been told I need to write, So I guess I better fill you all in on the Fam. We are all doing great. Parker is all done with football this year. He really had a great time playing and practicing as well. He loves football. Now he is getting thing ready to get this leaner's permit so he can drive.
Chelsea is just holding on hoping that she will survive the last year in high school. She is having a great time and playing a ton.
Lyonel is up at Utah State. He is working and playing and lots of studying. It is so nice when he comes home! I am very grateful he is not to far!
So as you can see we are all doing good. Loving Life and having a great time in it!

Homecoming

Here is Chlesea and her date, Tyler. Homecoming was really fun for her. and she looked stunning. They had a great day at the state fair, then dinner and to the dance, then as always back here for movies. Very fun date for Chels.
I am also very proud of her, she recieved her Young Woman recognition award. So much work. She is such and amazing girl!

We took a trip to Lake Powell right after Lyonel got home, it was great! We had so much fun. This is us after a HIKE to see the Indian ruins. Man was it hot. It was great being all together. We had a great trip, we wakeboarded and skied till we could hardly stand it. But we all loved every minute of the trip.
Lyonel is off to Utah State. He is really doing great. Working hard and yes playing hard. It is so nice to get to talk to him everyday as much as we want.
Chelsea just turned 18. She is really enjoying her senior year. Homecoming is this weekend so I'll have to show pictures.
Parker has been so busy with football. He is really loving being on the team. And I even think he likes High School. He has really grown up this summer.

I do think he is adjusting a little, but he is realy doing great! I love having him here!!! Now he is getting ready for School. But it was so great having him tell me maybe I just want to stay home. You know it would have been great if the whole time would have gone by as fast as the last month has! I really can't believe he will be here with me in 2 weeks!! I know he is working hard out there, he really wants to end strong. Lyonel set a goal to get one more baptism before he comes home, It was last saturday. I am very proud of him. But I am SO READY to get him here. Thank you all for love and support while Lyonel has been out serving the Lord. He has really felt your prayers!

We got Lyonels flight plans!! I am so excited. We have had a ton of excitement around us. Things are look good for all our friends and family. I just can't wait to hug my son and hear all the mission stories! YEA!!!!

We have 49 days til Lyonel get home! I can hardly wait. He just got tranfered and he is also a trainer again. He is very excited about that. He will have to work really hard til the end. And that is what he wants. He has really loved his mission and is having a hard time thinking about coming home, but he is really ready to come home also. I guess it is a good thing he hates to leave. But I can't wait to hear all the mission stories and get to know about all the pictures he has sent home.

The Yard

Well we did it!! We got the sod on thursday 6/7/07. and it is all done. We rare so thankful for all the help! I still can't believe how fast we had grass. Thank you everyone that came out and helped us! You are truly great friends. So now I just have to finish A couple of flower beds and things will be great!

Yard Work!

Well we are getting close to getting the back yard in! I am so excited and tired at the same time. We have really worked hard, but it is really coming together. We got the trenches dug tonight and we'll start on the sprinklers tomorrow. YEA!! Hopefully we will have grass before long.
Things here are going good, we are all counting the days til Lyonel get home. 73 DAYS!!
Chelsea and Parker can't wait til school is out. They are ready for summer break. Just a few more days.

Great Mother's day!!

Well I had a great Mother's day. We were able to talk to Lyonel for long time. It was great hearing his voice. He is starting to really get excited to get home. And I can't wait to just touch his face. We made the decision to stay home and just let him come home instead of going to the Dominican Republic. So we will just get things here ready for him! 3 month today and he'll be home!!
Ther rest of the Gammon's are holding up. Very busy. but I have decided that is how we like it.
Our sweet little friend Alex is just chugging along..He is getting stronger, but very once in a while he takes a step sideways. Then he gets really big and goes forward again. I am so thankful to his mom and dad for the faith and the great testimony they both have. They are truely amazing poeple! And I know that my faith has grown so much from just talking to them and feeling their testimony. We will keep Alex in our prayers. he is a great little man!!

I thought I would add a picture of Lyonel. My Missionary. His is on the down hill!! Hi will be coming home on Aug. 15. I can really hardly wait!! He is working hard and really loves the People in the Dominican Republic. He is very excited to be coming home and starting his next collage life again. He will be attending Utah State University in the fall. I am very glad it is close! That way he can come home ALOT!!! I am very Proud of Lyonel and the work he has done as a missionary. He is a great example to our whole family!

Parker is 15!

Well it is about time to up date this blog. I have decided that I am really not good at this. But I am triing. So much has happened this week. Now it is almost a blur.

Parker turned 15. We really had a fun day. we went bowling . It was fun, we have not done that for a very long time. I can't believe that my baby is that old!

Our dear friends Jeff and Brynn had their Little boy Alex on Parkers birthday. He really thinks that is cool! We have seen such great faith from that family. Alex had Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He had his frist surgery on Weds last week. And then on Friday he took a little step to the side, so surgery number 2 was Sunday. I was able to talk to Brynn today, and Alex is doing better today. I am so glad. What an amazing journey this little man is going through. And I do believe that the Lord sent him to this family because of the strength they have. I took the time to really read about HLHS. So that I could understand more about what Brynn was sharing with me. I am so glad that I did. Because I really learned alot and it helped me understand what they are going through. I am so grateful that she is sharing this with our family. Our prayer are with Alex and the rest of his little family!
Chelsea had another let down this week, she lost her elections. She was sad, but I think that she has learned so much. I am amazed at her for just trying! She is so strong, and really an amazing young women.

We are all doing good, just starting to count the days til our Missionary comes home!

Things with Lyonel are really going great. He will be coming home in August so that he can get ot school. He really loves the People in the Dominican Republic. Lyonel has really learned alot about their way of life. I am getting very excited for him to come home.

Things are going good at our house! We lived though Prom, Chelsea had a very good time and MAN did she look great!! We have been doing Parkers room. It will be really cool when we get all done.
I feel really bad it has been so long since I have written anything, but I forgot my password! I know I must be getting old.
Things are going great we are really counting down the days till Lyonel gets home! We will no be here long, just a few days then off to college. He is really enjoying the last of his mission. And yes I still miss him!
Well I will try to be better at keeping up on stuff. Yes I wrote my pass word down this time!

Thing here have been really busy. Getting all the stuff done for Lyonel and his schooling in the fall. He is doing great loving his mission! And the people in teh D.R.
The rest of us are keeping busy also. Chelsea is getting ready for Prom this weekend and Parker is working to get ready for the upcoming football season.
So thing are great here with us!
